The best way to care for your Juliet Schönenberg pieces? Treat them gently, like the tiny works of art they are. Handmade with quality seed beads and finished with gold-filled or thick gold-plated findings, every item is crafted to bring joy—not stress.

Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, sleeping, or getting active. Water, sweat, and friction can wear down both thread and finish over time (and trust us, beaded pieces don’t like tangles or tension).

Think of your jewelry like your favorite silk dress or vintage denim—meant to be loved and worn, but also cared for thoughtfully.

To clean your pieces, use a soft jewelry cloth or gently wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid chemicals, polishing liquids, and of course… the washing machine :)

Gold-plated elements may naturally fade with time, especially if exposed to water, perfumes, or lotions. Make your jewelry the last step of your getting-ready ritual to help it last longer.

Repairs & Replacements

We believe in quality and longevity—and we’re here to support both.

If your jewelry breaks or shows a defect within 6 weeks of purchase, we’re happy to offer a free repair or replacement, depending on what’s possible. Just email us at hello@julietschonenberg.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo if possible.

After that period, if your piece needs care or has been damaged with use, we offer repair options depending on the materials and complexity. Each request is reviewed individually, and we’ll always be transparent about what we can do and any costs involved.

Not all pieces may be repairable—but we’ll do our best to help your jewelry live a long and happy life.
